Garden Gate Tour
Our Garden Gate Tour is Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Seven privately owned local gardens (six in Fayetteville, one in Goshen) will highlight native and pollinator plants, water features, vegetable gardening, and rock work. Also included in the tour is the Washington County Master Gardeners Compost Demonstration Site (in Fayetteville), where the Northwest Arkansas Master Naturalists will be selling native plants.
Tour tickets are $15 and are available through secure online purchase here on our website. Tickets will also be available for purchase at each garden on the day of the tour.
The tour is self-guided; a printable driving map will be provided upon ticket purchase. You may begin the tour at any location. View a Google Map showing the garden tour locations.
Please note:
- There are no public restrooms at any of the garden locations.
- The tour is not recommended for children under 12. Each participant 12 and over needs a ticket.
- The tour is not recommended for those with limited mobility (this includes strollers) due to uneven terrain and unpaved walking paths.

Gardens on the Tour
The Compost Demonstration Site is a sanctioned project of the Washington County Master Gardeners (WCMG). Composting is promoted as a means of waste management for home gardeners and homeowners. WCMG volunteers offer programs about composting for school and civic groups as well as the general public.
An added bonus at this stop on the garden tour: our friends with the NWA Master Naturalists will be selling homegrown native plants at this location.
